Month 9, Day 3: Senate Hearing on Dying With Dignity

Hi, this is the first hearing and today’s agenda allows you to reference the presenter back to their submission. Hope you find it useful.

Click here to read the Senate program for today’s public hearing regarding the proposed Dying with Dignity bill.

i am looking to try and generate a bit more public awareness around this so any media reader who feels inclined please feel free to get in touch. Topic is so rich: terminally ill people, political system stacked against people’s wishes, confusion by the way Pallative care and medically assisted death as a tool in the tool kit, doctors, police and families all operating in the dark and so it goes. On top of that there is me trying to be a lightening rod for change and filming a documentary of my end of life and political change process, just needing 60k more funding on top of the 40k raised. Sounds like an interesting story.

Any donation help on the tab above would be huge. 275 funders but I need lots more. Think of it as buying me a $5 cup off coffee, enough adds up.

  1. Good luck today Peter. Watching and following your story and sharing it with my family and friends. You’re an inspiration. Sean.
